During my computer-aided design (CAD) class I got a basic understanding in making tech packs and using programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Optitex to make flats, textile design, and pattern drafting. In order to get a better understanding of this, I designed a small collection to go with all of the requirements above.
In nearing the end of the class, I have learned the meaning of marker making, grading, and costing.

Tech Pack Process
In the tech pack, we touched on the basics of understanding how to make a spec sheet, pattern sheet, cost sheet, maker, and grading. Some of these assignments include the garment I had to make in class while others were provided with a garment to do the exercise with.
