About Me

Welcome! My name is Eimee (like Amy). I graduated from Dominican University in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design. Ever since I was young, I was more on the creative spectrum. I am an outdoors person who gets inspiration from nature and wildlife. Nature holds beautiful aspects that can be applied to fashion designs from lines, shapes, and colors. That is why I like to play with sculptural silhouettes in my designs using different surface design techniques.

 

My background consists of working in a team setting, pattern making, draping, hand and machine sewing. One of the reasons why I enjoy designing is that I like to create sophisticated garments. Seeing my hard work come to life is a great satisfaction for me. Nothing comes easy without hard work. In sewing, there are no shortcuts, but time and patience can get you there. Challenging my creativity and designing I aspire to mentor an experienced designer to further enhance my skill sets. Let's keep in touch!
