The purpose of this research was to conclude that although high visibility safety clothes used inside warehouses are not entirely fashionable, I could reconfigure them to look stylish.
During the construction process, I learned how to arrange and sew high-visibility tape on clothes. This further helped me visualize how high-visibility garments can become reconfigure and attractive for the wearer while keeping the high visibility aspect for the workers' safety.

Jacket Process
The base of this project is to create an upcycled/reconfigured jacket using general high visibility vests. By disassembling multiple vests, enough fabric pieces were left to re-use along with high visibility tape to make a new garment out of it. A total of three medium-sized vests and three XL-sized vests were used to successfully cut out the pattern pieces for the jacket.
